Services

Refuge Accommodation

At Grace Joyce House we provide a safe house for women and their children fleeing from domestic violence and abuse. You do not need to have experienced physical violence, or have children to go into our refuge.

Each of our refuges are welcoming, comfortable, beautifully decorated and have excellent facilities.

Each woman will have her own bedroom and will share the communal areas e.g kitchen, bathroom and living room. The average stay of each resident is six months. This provides us and the women with enough time and opportunity to seek suitable long term or permanent housing.

Referral Procedure

We welcome referrals from individuals and professionals. If you are a woman who wishes to self refer please call our helpline Mon-Fri 09:00 - 17:00 on 0800 181 4449

Referrals are taken on a first come first serve basis. Referrals are assessed on their risk needs and accepted according to our assessment/referral policy. Assessments are made on the information given during the assessment process. Women we are unable to accommodate are given the reason why, and will be given specific guidance and the relevant helpline numbers for their needs.
